Vision: Center aims to conduct various studies using scientific methods, in the fields of national and international law, intended for the practice and theory of law, with an interdisciplinary approach in order to resolve issues regarding criminal law, to adapt Turkish law to the European Union law, and to promote cooperation.

Mission: Center conducts the following studies and activities, in line with its vision, for the practice and theory:

a) To organize and participate in national and international seminars, conferences, colloquia and similar activities in criminal law and related fields,
b) To make publications in Turkish and foreign languages and contribute to such studies,
c) To establish and develop relations with other national and international institutions and organizations in the field of science and applications related to its subject,
ç) To establish necessary archives and facilities related to its subject, to watch national and international publications and to bring them to the center,
d) To establish temporary or permanent commissions when necessary to carry out researches, examinations, projects and similar studies and production, to benefit from national and international experts and to cooperate,
e) To open regular, scientific, professional maturation and specialization courses, seminars and similar programs  in order to develop the personnel of the related organizations and institutions operating iin its field, or to participate in the ones organized by the relevant organizations,
f) To organize all necessary activities and publish all necessary publications related to its fields of activity.
