The İstanbul Kültür University Criminal Law Application and Research Center (CEHAMER) celebrated the 10th year and the 100th issue of its official publication Fasikül Magazine, which was first published in 2009, with the Gift Book dedicated to the Honorary Chairman of the Board of Overseers Civil Engineer (M.Sc.) Fahamettin Akıngüç. The "Educational Engineer Fahamettin Akıngüç Gift Book" by Fasikül Magazine, which was prepared with 43 scientific books by all the academicians of İKÜ Faculty of Law, was presented to our Honorary Chairman with a ceremony held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in the Fahamettin Akıngüç Auditorium of the Faculty of Law.

The Dean of the İKÜ Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Dr. Hc. mult. Bahri Öztürk opened the ceremony, in which our Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Güzel and the Chairman of the Board of Overseers Bahar Akıngüç Günver shared their messages about the meaning and importance of the day. Stating that they deeply feel the material and spiritual support of the Honorary Chairman Civil Engineer (M.Sc.) Fahamettin Akıngüç in the respected position of the İKÜ Faculty of Law and CEHAMER in Turkey, the Dean of the İKÜ Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk said the 10th year and 100th issue of Fasikül Magazine owes a debt of gratitude in this sense.

Sharing his message about the significance of the day after Prof. Dr. Dr. Hc. mult. Öztürk, Prof. Dr. Erhan Güzel said: "It is not a coincidence that we see the name Fahamettin Akıngüç in almost every step of the past 58 years when we look at the history of our country's national education. In fact, this is a success story that has broken grounds in education and has given education a dynamism. This achievement is an indicator of the extraordinary effort put forward by an engineer in social science and an intellectual in social relations, in almost every phase and without any compromise of the basic principles of the Republic or Atatürk's principles and reforms. In this context, I congratulate Fahamettin Akıngüç respectfully for this gift."

Speaking at the ceremony, the İKÜ Chairman of the Board of Overseers Bahar Akıngüç Günver stated that the Faculty of Law carries out its studies on a voluntary basis and that their love for science, ethics and students was a determinant in their success. In his speech, Chairman of the Board of Overseers Bahar Akıngüç Günver said: "Kültür is a service offered with heartfelt effort by our Honorary Chairman Civil Engineer (M.Sc.) Fahamettin Akıngüç to students and the national education of Turkey, it is a gift to the children and young people. Appreciation for this gift can be shown through actions not words. Our Faculty of Law has always shown its appreciation in different ways, including the Fasikül Magazine which reached its 100th issue, the Human Rights Academy held in the first week of April and the quality of the lawyers trained at CEHAMER. I want to thank the valuable academic and administrative staff of our Faculty of Law and our Dean Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. mult. Bahri Öztürk who never compromises working principles and effort, love for students and ethics, and most importantly the voluntary basis regardless of the conditions.
